Our take on Vegetable biryani. Vegan and vegetarian food made easy.

1 cups of Basmati Rice 
1 large onion 
 2 potatoes (oops forget to add it in) 
 
Spices 
1 star aniseed 
2 bay leaves 
1 teaspoon jeer/cumin seeds 
2 cinnamon sticks 
2 teaspoons garam masala 
0.5 teaspoon jeera/cumin powder 
2 teaspoon Dhania/coriander powder 
 2 tablespoon curry powder 
2 teaspoons Kashmiri chilli powder
 0.5 teaspoons teaspoon turmeric powder 
1.5 teaspoons salt to taste (or to taste) 
1 cup biryani Dhal (masoor) Brown or Black lentils 
1 cup frozen mix vegetable (carrots, peas, green beans, sweet corn, gadra/barlotti bean) you can use fresh vegetable as well) 
 Fresh Coriander for garnish.
