Smoked Haddock and Creamed Spinach Puff Pastry Pies
We made Smoked Haddock and Cream Spinach Puff Pastry Pies
This is what you will need.
Ingredients
5 tablespoons of butter
1 stick butter
500g of spinach (we prefer using normal spinach)
1/2 onion, finely diced
3 sprig of dill
4 cloves garlic, very finely minced
1/3 cup flour
1 1/2 cups milk
salt and pepper, to taste

Puff pastry
Once the spinach is soft and cooked through place it in a bowl. Next in the same, add 2 tablespoons of butter, immediately add ½ a chopped onion and slow cook until soft. a better texture.

Next add the 3 or 4 cloves of garlic, fry for 30 seconds, next, add 1/3 cup flour and mix until a crumble like texture is formed. Now add the milk. Stir until all the ingredients are combined. Continue stirring until you get the desired thickness, then add the spinach.
Once done, set aside.
Now for the puff pastry, this simple, make sure that your puff pastry is complete defrosted. Roll the puff pastry out to your desired size.
Next, add the smoked haddock, and then the creamed spinach. Butter the sides of the puff pastry. Fold the puff pastry and close the sides.
You can cut a design or just leave it as it is. we cut through a little too much and it split during the baking process.
Cook according to puff pastry instructions, our was done in 35 minutes.
