Episode SK2 - POTATO CHEESE BALLS

 

We made this today and they were absolutely amazing. A Perfect cool day snack.  

Potato Cheese Balls

Ingredients

5 medium-size Potatoes
Mozzarella Cheese or Cheddar Cheese
2 x slices of white bread, stale bread is better to use.

Spices
1 Teaspoons Garam Masala
1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
1 Teaspoon Chili Flacks
1 Teaspoon Salt or to taste
Β½ Ground black pepper
10g finely chopped coriander
10g finely chopped parsley
10g finely chopped Sprig Onion

Instructions

Boil your potatoes for 30 minutes

Make your breadcrumbs
Toast 2 slices of bread
Break small pieces of the toasted bread into a food processor. Once the bread is crumbs but not fine.

Once your potatoes are done peel and mash

Next, add your spices
1 Teaspoons Garam Masala
1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
1 Teaspoon Chili Flacks
1 Teaspoon Salt or to taste
Β½ Ground black pepper

Then add your herbs
10g finely chopped coriander
10g finely chopped parsley
10g finely chopped Sprig Onion

Mix all these delicious ingredients together.

Once combined make it into a ball and flatten the ball and then add a piece of cheese in the centre. Roll into a ball again.



For the Batter, you will need, cornflour, 2 eggs and breadcrumbs,


Take the balls and roll the balls in the cornflour, next into the beaten egg and next into the breadcrumbs coating the outside evenly.

Next heat 1 cup of oil, gently place the balls into the oil and fry until golden brown.

Serve with a sauce of your choice or a sweet and sour chilli sauce.
