Easy Braised Cabbage - Bayleaf and Sage
Mum made #braised #cabbage
Last week I went to visit my beautiful mum and dad. Going to visit them is like a mini-vacation and we get to spend with them and eat mumβs hand cooked food which is always the best.
This dish was cooked by my mum and was made with the kindest purest hand. Thank you, mum.
Ingredients
Half a head of cabbage very thinly sliced
4 cloves of garlic
A pinch of mustard seeds
3 or 4 red chillies
Salt to taste
Method
First heat 3 tablespoons of Oil. Next add the garlic, pinch of mustard seed, next to the red chillies. Let this cook for 30 seconds.
Add the cabbage and potato and cook until soft.
Serve with #roti or fresh bread.
